Policies, Procedures & Good Governance

Skerries Community Association and its committees are committed to achieving a high level of governance and best practices for not for profit organisations. In 2024, the Board of Directors established a Governance Working Group made up of 6 members of the Board of Directors. Their role is to ensure best practice in Governance, supported by guidance from the Charities Regulator, by reviewing and implementing Policies and Procedures.

To promote transparency, as all policies are updated and new ones implemented, they will be shared below for all members of the public. When reading the policies, if any member of the SCA would like to provide feedback or input, they may do so by emailing info@skerriesca.com for the attention of the Governance Working Group. Furthermore, if you are searching for a policy that is not listed below, please let us know.
